合作学习在初中英语课堂纠错中的应用

It is known that different ways of error correction canmake the results quite differently. How do teachers do towards student’serrors, especially when students make mistakes in class? Are there anyeffective ways for this? The answer is positive and cooperative learning is oneof the effective ways.

Cooperative learning is known as “group learning”, “teamlearning” or “shared learning”, which is promoted by the well-known Americaneducator David Koon in the 20th century the early 70s. It is a teaching theory and strategy system which getessential progress in the mid 70s to the mid 80s. Because of its advantageand  significant effectiveness inimproving the classroom atmosphere, enlarging the academic area that students canachieve, promoting students a good quality of the non-intellectual aspectsdevelop, it soon becomes a general interests and a mainstream strategy forteaching theory in most countries of the world. Duringthe period of teaching practice in NO.6 Middle School of Yuxi,I am aware that students’ language errors have always been a major challenge inEnglish learning process to English teachers. So the teachers play a veryimportant role in the student’s errors correction process. How to understandand deal with students in the language error correction and help students raisetheir awareness of error correction? Does cooperative learning have morebenefits for students to play the main role in the process of error correcting?With all these questions in my mind, I have made an investigation in No.6 middle school of Yuxi.
