Abstract The intentionof the work is to analyze, in a comparative way, the major differencesbetween spoken Englishand written English. Analyses will include composing contents, expressive form, and how environmentalfactors affect the functional use of English in society. We can enhance Englishteachers’ awareness of the differences and improve their English teaching.
