中学英语教学中的错误对比分析

Abstract

Accordingto the disciplines of language learning, language learning is a error-makingand correcting process, by which learning is improved. Therefore, making errorsis an inevitable procedure in learning a foreign language. It is quitenecessary for learners to realize and correct the errors in learning and forteachers to make use of the errors in teaching. The paper mainly discusses theerrors made by some Chinese middle school students, the categories of errors,and the analysis of them. Based on the discussion, some measures of teaching Englishin middle school are also put forward. paper51.com

We cannot learn without makingmistakes. Sometimes, making and correcting errors is a way of perfectinglearning. This article states the theory ofcontrastive analysis and its application in foreign language teaching in middleschool. The errors made by middle school students are analyzed in the paper.These errors are collected in terms of lexicon, grammar, pronunciation, syntax,semantics and pragmatics. They are analyzed in a contrastive way. In this way,we learn in detail that foreign language learning is influenced by mothertongue in some way. Therefore, when teaching English, teachers should make good use of errors,and help students improve their learning more efficiently. It points out that the role of contrastive analysis inforeign language teaching is of great value and cannot be replaced though not all errors occur because of first language(L1 )interference, and evensome errors which are predicted by Contrastive Analysis(CA) do not appear atall, while some other errors which are not predicted actually appear. The paper is divided intofive parts. Part one is the introduction; part two introduces thetheory of CA; the third part concerns categories of errors, while the next partgives some suggestions of English teaching in middle school, and the last partis the conclusion. 内容来自www.paper51.com
